With 18 weekly ocean services, the Port of Halifax connects with over 150 countries. Work is underway to bring annual throughput capacity to 1.4 million TEU, with strategies identified to increase capacity to 1.9 million TEU annually over the next 20 years and ensure capacity remains ahead of demand.
